Hilary became a volunteer over 50 years ago teaching our youngest non-swimmers in the small pool, originally at Petersgate Pool and for 40 years at Life Leisure. Hilary has dedicated her Tuesdays to teaching 1000s of swimmers the fundemental swimming strokes over the years. She will be sorely missed and the volunteers at Stockport Swimming Club wish her a happy and healthy retirement! Sarah, Hilary’s grandaughter has taken over as teacher in the small pool and we wish Sarah the very best in her new role!
